As Creative Director of Merivale – Australia’s largest entertainment and hospitality group Di works and oversees a growing portfolio of more than 50 restaurants, bars, pubs and function spaces in Sydney. Prior to Merivale, Di was Creative Director at M&C Saatchi where she worked for a client list that included Westfield, Freedom and Woolworths.
Di relocated back to Australia from DDB New York where she spent eleven years as a Creative Director, working on and winning a variety of accounts including Sephora, Diet Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, Cotton, Knorr Foods, Philips Electronics, Polo Ralph Lauren, iVillage.com, JC Penny, Michelin, and Hershey’s Chocolates. Lipton, Merck and Schering-Plough.
As the Global CD of Lipton, Di oversaw the integration of the “Tea can do that” campaign through various media channels worldwide including digital, ambient, events and DM. And at the same time worked on healthcare for two of the countries biggest pharmaceuticals companies.
Di originally transferred to New York from DDB Australia where she was an Art Director on Telstra, Yellow Pages, Sportsgirl, Clarks Shoes, and Schweppes winning several overseas and local awards.
Before DDB, Di was at Young and Rubicam Melbourne, where she created one of Australia’s all-time favourite commercials for DuPont Stainmaster Carpets and also won awards for her work on Kodak, Audi, Adidas and ANZ Bank. Prior to that Di spent two years on fashion at Mattingly on Myer/Grace Bros.
Di thrives on a challenge and loves building brands. Awards yes, but most importantly results.
